He couldn't take his eyes off... Weird

I went on a date to a Mexican restaurant. I met this guy on a dating site and this was a second and last date. After we ordered our drinks a couple was seated across the aisle from us. The woman proceeded to ignore her date an talk on her cell phone. The man decided that he would pass the time by watching how our date was going. In particular he was staring at me. I noticed him right away and this wasn't your normal voyeuristic escapade. He was staring. When I looked at him, he wouldn't look away. He even made eye contact. There was no embarrassment on his part. I figured he would stop, so I ignored him for a while, but when I checked, he had turned his body towards me, crossed his legs, put his elbow on the table and leaned on his hand. It was like he thought he was watching a movie. I turned to my date and told him to look. He said, "Oh, ignore him. he'll stop." He didn't. After 20 minutes, I went over to the manager and told him to pay attention. He was so freaked out by what he saw that the escorted us to the back of the restaurant and asked the couple to leave. He would not let us enter the main dining room until he was sure the man had left the area. Weird. Even weirder, the woman he was with was on the phone the whole time and when they were asked to leave, she was surprised. It was just such a weird experience that the gentleman and I didn't even contact each other again.

How do I recover after coming on too strong? Weird

So I met this really cool girl last week and we had that instant connection that's so rare to come by. We were both working as volunteers somewhere and in the few hours we met we really hit it off and even shared a kiss by the time we left. She commented on the sexual tension that was too obvious to ignore which is what led to that. We made plans to see each other the next day but they fell through and she invited me to her work (she's a waitress part time) and I went but it wasn't the best time or place to really get to know someone so I left and told her she owes me a proper date. The next day I asked her out but she was busy and said shed get in touch when she was home. She did. I asked her to go out. She said she was tired, understandably, from a long day. Then I messed up. I asked her two more times in a row and almost begged. The next day she got in touch with me and I came on real strong and acted all cocky and was teasing her. That's out of character for me. She obviously didn't like it and she started to give me shorter answers spaced further apart over text. Hours later I thought I'd try to cover myself and basically said I thought I was coming off as an ass and said sorry if I did and hopefully I didn't make a bad impression. She told me "don't even worry about it, hun". The next day I said thanks and asked her how her date with another guy we had been joking about went. No response. The day we met and the day after we had incredible chemistry. Now I screwed it up. Things to note: she has a boyfriend who she's looking to leave (I have a girlfriend and in the same situation), the day we met she had also been introduced to another guy she was interested in but implied she would prefer me over him. I'm also I'm that situation with another girl I'm into but would prefer this new girl. So, the question is: How do I redeem myself after coming on wayyy too strong with this girl? Everything was perfect before I opened my stupid mouth! We met on a Friday, things went well until Sunday night, and now it's Wednesday. Last I spoke to her, I asked a question mid-day yesterday and got no response since. I'm thinking to just ignore it and try again later this week. What's a guy to do in this situation?
